Sessions cost £100. There will be a CBT assessment session before beginning treatment, which also costs £100 (There will be no charge for CBT assessments, where CBT is deemed not suitable for your needs, as a therapy option)
Sessions can be paid, via bank transfer or STRIPE (similar to Paypal) if you are more comfortable.
Payment needs to be received prior to each session, otherwise the session will not be able to go ahead.

Attendance is important because too many missed sessions, impact recovery.
If you cannot attend your session. You will be charged a cancellation price, which will be half of the price of a session (so £50).
If you do not turn up for a session and have not informed me that you cannot attend, you will be charged the full price of a session (as a space will have been taken that somebody else could have had).

Sessions are: 1 Hour, weekly, offered between the hours of 9-5.
Course Length: 12-14 sessions approximately (more or less sessions may be needed, depending on clinical need)

All sessions will be strictly confidential and your GP does not need to know that you are having therapy. So your mental health problem and treatment will not show on your medical records, unless you request your GP to be made aware.
However, if you are at risk of hurting yourself or others, confidentiality will be extended to include your GP and other professionals, who can help support you at this time. Your safety and the safety of others is a priority.

All information you provide will legally need to be stored for 10 years. You can request this data at any point, in that time.
Your information will be stored on a secure, passworded computer that no one other than myself will have access to.
No data will be sold or passed on to third parties.

If you believe you are at risk of severely hurting yourself or ending your life, then this service will not be right for you.
The most suitable services, to keep you safe would be either the Crisis Team, your local A&E or your GP.
To access the Crisis Team you can dial 111 (which puts you through to the UK NHS 111 Service) and then press option 2, when asked if you are experiencing a mental health difficulty.
This service is only suitable for people who can keep themselves safe.
For people who live outside of the UK, if you are feeling suicidal please contact your doctor to seek support, or attend your local hospital.

These mental health disorders require specific treatments which are not offered within this service.
These disorders are treated within Secondary care services, which your GP can refer you to.

Research has found Virtual CBT Therapy to be equally as effective as Face To Face CBT Therapy.
In fact, recent research has even found Virtual CBT Therapy to be more effective, than Face To Face CBT therapy, in some cases.
